Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and a desire to lift up Rerathen's son, who is serving in the military and feeling the weight of loneliness and sadness. Lord, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We hold onto this promise for Rerathen's son, trusting that You have a beautiful plan for his life, including the gift of love and companionship.
Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your comforting presence. Remind him that he is never alone, for You have said in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." May this truth sink deeply into his heart, providing him with the strength and hope he needs during this challenging time.
Father, we pray that You would bring the right person into his life, someone who will love him, support him, and share in his journey. Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord." We ask for Your favor upon him, that he may find a loving partner who is a blessing from You.
As he serves his country, grant him protection, peace, and the assurance that You are working all things together for his good, as it is written in Romans 8:28. Help him to trust in Your timing and to remain steadfast in his faith, knowing that You hear his prayers and are faithful to answer them.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
