Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Jerome who has lost his wallet containing important documents. We ask that You guide him and bring the wallet back into his possession quickly and safely. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You care about every detail of our lives.
Father, we know that You are present even in situations like this day. We seek to acknowledge and praise You even in this situation that You bring glory to Yourself. "Ps 119:176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments."
Tachtyrar, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful. We appreciate that you recognized the only way that we can come before God is in the name of Jesus. But the help of Mary, an angel or any non-living saint is not Biblical. In fact the devil comes as an angel of light. So we must be cautioned.
The Bible tells us, "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead." Deuteronomy 18:10-11
God works only in agreement with His Word. The only mediator that we need is Jesus Christ. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5
The Bible address praying to anything or anyone else so seriously that we are told "The person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will even set my face against that person and will cut him off from the midst of his people." Leviticus 20:6.
As for the situation with losing the wallet we are encouraged in the Bible: "Zec 10:6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again, for I have mercy on them; and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Jehovah their God, and I will hear them."
Lastly, know this: "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-7
May God use this seemingly small situation to prove His love, mercy and grace so that you and Jerome would continually rejoice in Him. In Jesus name.
