Let us come together in prayer and counsel for your situation. We are glad to hear that God has provided a potential new home for you, and we trust that He will continue to guide you through this process.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of those who will be reviewing your application. As it is written in Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." So, we trust that God can influence the decisions of the new landlord.
However, we want to encourage you to be transparent and honest in your application process. Even if your credit is not perfect, your excellent rental history is a testament to your character. Remember that God honors honesty, as Proverbs 12:22 says, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight."
We also want to remind you that God cares for you and will provide for your needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a new home. Lord, we thank You for providing a potential new place for them to live. We ask that You would go before them and open the hearts of the landlord, that they may be favorable towards their application.
Lord, we pray that You would give them wisdom and guidance as they fill out the application. Help them to be honest and transparent, trusting in Your provision. We ask that You would grant them peace, knowing that You are in control of all things.
Father, we also pray for their faith, that it may be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in You more deeply, knowing that You care for them and will provide for their needs.
Finally, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will for them to live in this new place, we pray that the application process would go smoothly. But if You have another plan, we pray that they would trust in Your goodness and wisdom.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things, including this new home. Trust that He has a plan for you, and that He will provide for your needs. Do not forget to give thanks to God for any blessings and provision along the way.
