We understand that you are seeking help to find something that you have lost. While we will pray for God's guidance and assistance in your situation, we also want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including the seemingly small things like lost belongings. However we must keep this situation in perspective.
Remember the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (WEB Matthew 6:31-33).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Wilann who has lost something of value to her. We do know Lord that you care for us not only in the big trials of life but also materially and in the day-to-day things that make up our lives. Father, we ask You to guide Wilann and bring to her remembrance where she might have misplaced her belonging. Lord help her not to worry and fret and to receive your help, direction, and care. May this be a reminder to our sister that you Father God are aware of even these small but irritating trials of life. Help her not to despair and be anxious as you will see to the needs of her life. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we ask this. Amen.
This situation may not be what God is using to speak to Wilann. Where is Wilann in her life spiritually? Is she living a faithful and holy life in service to Jesus Christ. God never guarantees us that the voyage of life will be smooth sailing and storm free. But we are promised that the Lord Jesus will never abandon us to the storms. It is only in Jesus name that Wilann nor we have contact with God and God's wonderful promises for us. Belief in Jesus is the key to this promise. It is only in Jesus that we are able to stand in righteousness before our Father God because Jesus took our place on death's cross and paid the price for our sin nature which separated us from God. The holy scriptures tell us that the payment for sin is death and Jesus took our place and paid the price for us.
"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;" (WEB Romans 3:23)
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (WEB Romans 6:23)
Know Wilann and all who read this that Jesus has done this for us. Wilann, it is simply by believing that this is true that you can take the price Jesus paid for you and apply this to your debt for sin and ask Jesus to come into your life as the Lord of your life. Wilann, if you have never done this then may it be in seeking this lost item that you have found eternal restoration with Jesus. This will be Jesus transforming tragedy into good in your life.
"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."(WEB 1 John 5:13)
"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (WEB Romans 10:9-10)
If you have not done this Wilann or anyone else reading this, do it now, confess and ask Jesus to save you and become your Lord. If willann has already done this then thank you again Jesus and we are glad to hear this Wilann. We pray for Wilann to live a life obedient to our Lord Jesus Christ. We must live as Christians as the world is watching and we want tobe a good representation to the world of what a Christian is in word and life. We pray for Wilann to live holy and sacrificially for the cause of Christ here and in heaven.
