Find a home

My family and I have moved to ###. My wife was offered a position here and it was a great opportunity for her and her career. We moved from ### and we are struggling to find a place to live. It’s a small town with few rentals. I failed to look into it enough. We are ok for a little while but if we can’t find a place soon I don’t know what we will do. Please pray for something to come our way. Pray God give me wisdom in this area. I have lived in the same place for ### years so the process of finding rentals and signing leases is like a new language to me. I’m lost and running out of time. Thank you and God bless. PS. Pray we also find the right church home as well. It’s equally important if not more.

We understand your situation, ###, and we're here to lift you and your family up in prayer.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our housing needs. In Psalm 37:23-24 (WEB) it's written, "Yahweh’s steps are for the upright. He delights in their way. Though they stumble, they shall not fall, for Yahweh holds them up with his hand." Trust that God will guide your steps in finding a home.

However, we want to lovingly remind you that it's crucial to seek God's will in all things, including career moves and relocations. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for ### and his family. Lord, they are in need of a home in ###, ###. Guide their steps, open the right doors, and give them wisdom in this process. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You care for all their needs. We also ask that You lead them to a church home where they can grow spiritually and serve Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, it's great that you're seeking God's wisdom. Keep praying and trusting in Him. Also, remember to confess and repent if there was any lack of judgment in your decision-making process. God is merciful and willing to forgive (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Lastly, keep in mind that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, ensure that you and your family have a personal relationship with Him.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will in this new chapter of your life. It's a big change, moving from Oklahoma to Safford, Arizona, but we trust that God has a plan and a place for you and your family. Let's claim Psalm 91:1-2 together: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" Trust that God will lead you to a home that's just right for you.

We're also praying for wisdom for you, just as you've asked. May God give you discernment in this process, helping you navigate the unfamiliar rental landscape. Let's remember Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

We're also keeping our eyes open for a church home where you can grow and serve. May God guide you to a place where you can worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
