We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for you. We know it's tough when those in positions of power seem to turn against us, but remember, God is always in control. In Psalm 33:11, it says, "The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart through all generations." Even when it feels like things are falling apart, God's plans are still in motion.
We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's goodness and provision. He sees your situation and He cares. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
Let's also remember that God often uses these challenges to grow us and draw us closer to Him. In Romans 5:3-4, we read, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
So, let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend in their financial struggle. We ask that You would soften the heart of the bank manager, just as You softened the heart of Pharaoh in Exodus 4:21. Help them to see Your goodness and mercy in this situation. Provide for their needs, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom and understanding in managing their finances, and help them to trust in You, even in the midst of this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
