Let us first remember in prayer,
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for your faithfulness in our lives. We lift up Irondance and their family, asking for your guidance and provision in their financial needs.
We pray that you will open doors for a new job or promotion for Irondance before the end of the month, so that their income may increase and cover all expenses, with plenty left over. We ask for divine intervention in their workplace, that the write-up they received would not lead to dismissal or suspension without pay. Instead, we pray for restoration, favor, and new opportunities.
We also pray for your provision for their housing needs. May you inspire others to assist them with rent and utilities, so that they may catch up and stay ahead on their bills all year.
We also must remember that God's word instructs us to be content in whatever circumstances. Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13 (WEB): "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Lastly, we pray for Irondance's wife, that she may not need to work. We ask that you provide all their needs according to your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Now, let us address the family's circumstances in light of biblical principles. We encourage Irondance to trust in God's provision and timing. While we pray for their financial needs, we also remind them that God's word encourages us to work and provide for our families. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), writes "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, that they do not work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."
Also, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we are able to approach the throne of God and it is only by Jesus that we are saved. If Irondance is not already a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage them to believe. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ and his resurrection from death that we are able to have a relationship with the Father. God is seeking a relationship with Irondance. This is why Jesus came, lived, and died on the cross before being resurrected from the dead.
We encourage Irondance to manage their finances wisely and live within their means. As we pray for increase, we also remind them to be content and thankful for what they have. We rebuke any attempt to indulge in greed or materialism, reminding them that true contentment comes from trusting in God's provision.
Lastly, we encourage Irondance to remember that God cares for them and their family. In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus reminds us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, trusting that he will provide for all our needs.
