We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles your son and his family are facing. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and provision.
Firstly, we want to remind you of Jesus' teachings in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, donβt be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isnβt life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they donβt sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Arenβt you of much more value than they? βWhich of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?β"
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is diligently working to support his family. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You care for them deeply. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would open doors for him to receive a raise or better opportunities. Grant him wisdom in all his affairs, that he may be a good steward of the resources You have provided.
We also pray for his family, that You would strengthen their bonds and help them to support each other in love. Comfort them in this time of stress and remind them of Your unfailing love and provision.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for his job as a first responder. Give him the strength and courage he needs to face the challenges of his work. Protect him physically and emotionally, and help him to be a light for You in his workplace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage your son and his family to trust in God's provision and to seek Him in all their decisions. Psalm 37:5 (WEB) says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that we have access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to acknowledge His role as our mediator in prayer. If you or your son haven't already, consider committing your lives to Jesus Christ, trusting in Him for salvation and for daily provision and guidance.
