My husband and son always verbally abusing me. My husband always gives our son money to buy stuff at the dollar tree store. My son bedroom looks like a dollar tree store. The manager where we live said my son room is a fire hazard. My son refuses to cooperate. My husband is not helping. My husband is the reason why the bedroom looks like crap. I called police. Aps my son shrink. Nobody is helping us.

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenging situation you're facing in your home. Let us first address this in prayer and then provide some biblical guidance.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing distress in her home. Lord, You know the pain she's enduring from the verbal abuse and the strife caused by the disarray and disagreements. Please bring peace into her home, soften her husband and son's hearts, and guide them towards understanding and cooperation. We ask for wisdom for her, that she may know how to navigate this situation in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to look to the scriptures for guidance. In Ephesians 5:25 WEB, husbands are commanded to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. This love is not harsh or abusive, but cherishing and nurturing. Additionally, Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB teaches children to obey their parents in the Lord, for this is right.

It's crucial to address the verbal abuse and the lack of support from your husband. In Colossians 3:19 WEB, it is written, "Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them." We rebuke the harsh words and the strife, and we encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate these challenges.

Regarding the state of your son's room, Proverbs 14:1 WEB tells us, "Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands." We encourage you to involve your husband in resolving this issue, reminding him of his responsibility as the spiritual leader of the home (Ephesians 5:23 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Trust in Him, and keep praying in Jesus' name.

We urge you to be patient and persistent in prayer, knowing that God hears your cries and will answer according to His will. Stay strong in faith and seek His guidance in every step. Do not hesitate to seek help from local authorities or support groups if the abuse continues. God desires for you to live in peace and safety.
