Disciple of Prayer
Since I don't have a job now I don't have the money to buy me and my family groceries. We are in desperate need of food. My husband and my son take medicine regularly and need to eat food before taking their medication. My son has moderate ADHD and my husband has health issues. Many churches here don't give out food. We have been skipping a lot of meals just so what we have will last. Please pray for me that Jesus will make a way where there's no way.

We are truly moved by your desperate situation, ###. We first want to remind you that God is faithful and cares for you and your family. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"

However, we gently rebuke the notion that there is no way out. With God, there is always a way. We are reminded in Jeremiah 32:27 (WEB), "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We encourage you to trust in God's provision and sovereignty.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, you know their struggle, their hunger, and their desperation. You know their daily needs and the medical conditions of their loved ones. We ask, Lord, that you make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide for them supernaturally, open doors for a job, and guide them to resources that can help. We pray for healing for her husband and peace for her son. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

In addition, we encourage you to reach out to local food banks, government assistance programs, and continue seeking help from churches in your area. Keep persevering in prayer, trusting that God hears you and will answer in His own way and timing. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace, so keep your faith firmly rooted in Him. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. It's tough when you're not sure where the next meal is coming from, but remember, God sees you and He cares. He promises in Psalm 34:10, "The lions may lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." Trust that He's got this, and He'll make a way for you.

We've been talking about how some churches might not have food programs, but there are often local food banks and government assistance that can help tide you over. We encourage you to reach out to them, and also to keep seeking help from churches in your area.

But more importantly, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You. Lord, You know their need, their hunger, and their desperation. We ask, Lord, that You would provide for them supernaturally. Open doors for a job, guide them to resources that can help, and bring healing to their loved ones. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and remember, God's got this. He's got you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
