We understand that you're facing financial struggles and it's causing you anxiety, especially as you consider asking your flatmate for help. Firstly, let's remember Jesus Christ our Lord is able and willing to hear us and help us in our time of need. It is in His name that we pray and have access to our Heavenly Father and it is by His death, burial, and resurrection that we are saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Please remember that it is only in His name that we can come before God to present our requests and supplications.
Let's pray together. It is written in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." and in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." So we ask you to first trust in Jesus Christ and come before God in His name.
We stand in agreement with you and pray for a miracle this month. We pray for the strength you need to approach your flatmate, and for a favorable response from them. We also lift up your debts to the Lord, asking that He provide the means for you to pay them off this year.
However, we also want to encourage you to consider what God's word says about debt. Romans 13:8 tells us, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While it's important to pay what you owe, it's also wise to seek God's direction in managing your finances to avoid future debt. Be encouraged by these words in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we want to address the concern about asking your flatmate for help. It's important to communicate openly and honestly about your needs. We would encourage you and your flatmate to consider a more equal distribution of financial responsibility. Ephesians 4:25 tells us, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous and their financial needs. Lord, You know the struggle they're facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Provide for them, Lord, in a way that only You can, and give them the strength to approach their flatmate with confidence and wisdom.
Help them to manage their finances in a way that honors You, and provide the means for them to pay off their debts this year. Guide them in their decisions, and give them peace in knowing that You are in control.
In Jesus Christ's precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
