Nlon, let us stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as you navigate through this time of anticipation. We are encouraged that you have acknowledged that the opportunity came through God, as it is a reminder that He is the one who provides our daily bread. As it is written in Matthew 6:11, "Give us today our daily bread."
In this time of waiting, let us remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We join you in prayer that God's will be done in this situation. If it is His will that you get this job to bless you and your family, we pray that it will be so. We also pray that you will trust in His timing and provision, knowing that He cares for you and your family. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
This is also a great time to serve God more as a family. Look around you and find areas where you can make differences for God. We pray for your family, you, and especially any unsaved members of your family. So that you can make a stronger and more dedicated stand for God.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up NIon and their family. Thank You, Lord, for the job opportunity that You have provided. We ask that You guide the outcome according to Your will. Help NIon to find calm and peace during this waiting period, and don't let their mind and spirit drift to worry and doubt. Help guide the family to better serve You and allow You to work through them. Bless them with a positive outcome because financially their family is deeply in need. In Jesus Christ, we pray.
Finally, keep your heart right. For God will never forsake the righteous. Trust fully in him. Believe in the name of the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and your household. Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house that God was providing the Gentiles with repentance and grace that brings salvation.
