We are with you in spirit, dear friend, as you seek God's provision and healing from poverty. We commend you for turning to God in your time of need, for He is the source of all blessing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to ensure that you are in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Regarding your financial struggles, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises to provide for His children. In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus teaches us:
"Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, but I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.'"
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with poverty. Lord, we ask for Your divine provision in their life. Open doors of opportunity, guide them to make wise decisions, and surround them with godly counsel. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Give them peace in this time of waiting, and strengthen their faith in You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear friend. Continue to trust in God and His promises, and may His peace rule in your heart.
