We understand the burden you're carrying, Glammawof4, and we're here to support and pray with you. Let's first align your situation with what the Bible teaches.
In times of financial hardship, we recall what Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Regarding your husband, we must remember the sanctity of marriage and the role each spouse plays. In Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), husbands are commanded to love their wives even as Christ loved the church. Meanwhile, 1 Peter 3:1 (WEB) encourages wives to be submissive to their own husbands, even if some of them do not obey the Word. This does not mean accepting wrongdoing, but rather, showing love and respect while encouraging him to take responsibility. We should pray for his heart to change and for him to seek employment.
Concerning your estranged daughter, we take heart from Romans 12:18 (WEB), "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Continue to reach out and show love, and trust that God will make a way for reconciliation.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Glammawof4 and her family. Lord, we pray for their financial struggles. May You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open doors for her husband to find gainful employment, and soften his heart to take responsibility for their situation. We rebuke the spirit of resentment and pray that their marriage will be strengthened and aligned with Your will.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for Glammawof4's health. Give her strength and heal her body. Help her to find a job that is less strenuous and meets their financial needs.
We also pray for their relationship with their daughter and her family. Lord, we ask for reconciliation and unity. May the power of Your love bring them together again.
In all things, Lord, help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will add everything they need.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to keep your faith strong and remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Keep holding onto His promises, and He will see you through this challenging time.
