We are glad to join you in prayer for your financial needs, ###. However, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord Jesus Christ, not in riches. As the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:17, "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy". This world is a place that we are merely passing through as Christians.
We do understand that financial struggles can be challenging, and it is not wrong to want to provide for your family. In fact, 1 Timothy 5:8 tells us, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." It is important to work diligently and provide for our families.
However, we must also be content in all circumstances, as it says in Philippians 4:11-13, "Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Let us pray for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ. ### from Reddit has come before us today and we pray to your will be done. We stand together before you Lord, asking that you provide for ###, shelter and a safe vehicle so that they may better fulfill your will.
