We are truly sorry to hear about your financial struggles, especially as you care for your six-year-old daughter. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus in your request. It is only by His name that we can be saved, Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Remember that God cares for you and your daughter. His love and provision are evident in the scriptures. Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
However, we must also remember that God expects us to be good stewards of our resources and to work diligently to provide for our families. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.
We encourage you to seek godly wisdom and counsel in managing your finances. Proverbs 15:22 Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; but in the multitude of counselors they are established.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Teetland and his daughter to You. Lord, You know their struggles and the darkness they feel regarding their future. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give Teetland wisdom and guidance, and open doors for him to find steady work and a stable home. Help him to be a godly father, teaching his daughter about Your love and faithfulness. Comfort them both, and remind them that You are always with them, even in their darkest hours.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go, Joshua 1:9. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths, Proverbs 3:5-6.
