We understand that you are facing financial difficulties due to the educational expenses of your three sons, and you are under stress because of debt. We also see that you are working in a central government job and have been raising your children like a single parent due to your husband's unemployment and rude behavior. We will pray for your situation and offer some biblical advice. Firstly it is important to pray and submit requests in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we can approach God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing financial struggles and stress due to debt. We pray that you would provide for her needs according to your riches in glory Psalm 37:25. We ask that you would give her the strength and wisdom to manage her finances and make wise decisions Proverbs 3:5-6. We also pray for her husband, that you would soften his heart, convict him if he is not living according to your ways, and bring repentance and restoration to their marriage if it is your will, Lord Ephesians 5:25-28. We pray that you would guide her sons in their studies and help them to grow into responsible, God-fearing men Ephesians 6:4.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Now, let's look at some biblical principles to help you navigate this situation.
The Bible tells us that we should not worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
We encourage you to trust in God and His provision. He knows your needs and He cares for you. Also, the Bible says we should work to supply our own needs and the needs of our family 1 Timothy 5:8. We encourage you to continue working diligently and to seek God's wisdom in managing your finances.
Regarding your husband, the Bible teaches that husbands should love their wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25. We encourage you to pray for your husband and seek God's will for your marriage. If it is safe and possible, consider seeking counseling or mediation to address the issues in your marriage.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will make the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.
