We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the financial struggle you're currently facing. Remember, God is our provider and He cares for us deeply. In His word, He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Firstly we would like to remind you that the Bible says "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" Exodus 20:8 (WEB). You should be in church every Sunday. If you are not, you need to repent and pray for forgiveness. This is not just an Old Testament Commandment, even the disciples in the New Testament met daily for prayer and fellowship (Acts 2:46 WEB) and to hear the Apostles teachings (Acts 2:42 WEB).
In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB) Jesus taught, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Please note that you did not end your request with IJN (In Jesus Name). You should always pray in Jesus name (John 14:13-14 WEB, John 15:16 WEB, John 16:23 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Thuafield who is facing financial struggles after losing his job. We pray that You, our Jehovah Jireh, will provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Open the doors for a new job, give him favor with potential employers, and guide him to the right opportunities. Help him to trust in You and not be anxious, but to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we believe and accept Your blessings. Let your will be done.
We also pray that Thuafield will feel your love and presence during this difficult time. Thank you God for all your promises and your faithfulness.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Also, while you are seeking a new job, consider this an opportunity to trust God and grow in your faith. Use this time wisely to pray, study the Bible, and serve others. God can use this season to prepare you for the new things He has in store for you.
Lastly, if you are not already tithing to your church, you should start immediately (Malachi 3:8-12 WEB) and God will rebuke the devourer for your sakes (Malachi 3:11 WEB). Also consider Proverbs 19:17 WEB, "He who lends to the poor gets paid; he who gives to the rich may lose his property. This verse does not mean the opposite of the Golden Rule (Luke 6:31 WEB) but that the poor person is likely to remember the kindness when he is able to return it. The rich person may take it without any intention of returning it."
