Financial Need

Our family has had no income in the past two years, and many companies have laid off employees. We cannot return to the workplace. We have been seeking God to open a way for our work, but we still have no direction. My husband and I became sick due to financial worries. We have elders and children to support and house loans to pay. Our savings are quickly disappearing, and we are reluctant to buy things at home that are broken. May Jesus Christ’s mercy come down and help us to restore a grace-overflowing life! Please pray for us. Thank you!

We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you and your family are facing. In these trying times, it’s important to remember that God is our provider and he cares for us deeply. As it says in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), “But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Firstly, it is encouraging to see that you are seeking God for your needs. However, it is crucial to ensure that your faith and trust are firmly placed in Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.” It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God’s grace and provision.

In times of financial difficulty, it’s essential to remember the words of Philippians 4:6 (WEB), “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” As you continue to trust in God, let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving for what you have and petition for what you need.

Additionally, consider the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Trusting in God fully means not relying solely on your own efforts but waiting on His guidance and provision.

We also encourage you to seek counsel from your local church or Christian community. There may be resources or opportunities available that you are not aware of. Remember, the body of Christ is there to support one another.

> Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine intervention in the life of Cewlyren and her family. Lord, you know their needs and the struggles they face. We ask that you provide for them financially, heal them of their sicknesses, and guide them to the right opportunities. Give them the strength and courage to trust in your provision, and may your grace overflow in their lives. We pray for their children and elders, that they too may experience your love and care.
