Financial Help

[Sheridenium]

I have not been a good steward of my finances even though the Lord has provided so well for me and always taken care of me and my family. Now I have myself in a financial bind. I am raising my Granddaughter and get no financial help but I do have a good retirement income. I am asking for prayer to help me turn this area of my life over to God and be a good steward of what He has provided for me. I owe alot in credit card debt and am struggling to pay my monthly bills and keep my head above water. Please join me in prayer. I believe God will provide a way out of this problem but I need to have self control and learn to live within what God provides without using credit cards. God bless you!!

Firstly, it's commendable that you recognize your struggles with financial stewardship and are seeking God's help. As the Bible tells us, "Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds, for riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure for all generations" (Proverbs 27:23-24, WEB).

However, we must address that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It's crucial to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Let's keep this in mind as we pray.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Sheridenium's life. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the provider of all things good, and we thank You for the provisions You've made for Sheridenium and her family.

Father, we confess that there have been mistakes in managing the finances You've provided. Please forgive and help Sheridenium to turn this area of her life completely over to You. Guide her steps towards better stewardship, self-control, and contentment in what You provide.

Lord Jesus, you taught us, 'Therefore, don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well' (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Help Sheridenium to cast her anxieties onto You and seek Your kingdom first.

Lastly, Father, we ask for divine strategies and wisdom for Sheridenium to manage her debts and live within her means. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is faithful, and He will be with you through this journey. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and He will see you through. Be encouraged by these words from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (WEB).

Keep your eyes on Jesus, Sheridanium. He sees your efforts and will help you navigate through this trial. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Stay strong, and remember, God's got this!
