We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you're facing. We want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial needs. It is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence. We noticed you did not particularly mention Jesus so let's address this. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 (WEB)
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We need to believe in Jesus. Acts 4:12 (WEB)
We give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His love and care for you. We pray that He will guide you through this difficult time and provide for all your needs. We pray for wisdom in managing your finances and for opportunities to increase your income. We also pray for your family, that God will strengthen them and provide for their needs as well.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel regarding your finances. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors, they succeed." Consider speaking with financial advisors, mentors, or trusted friends who can provide practical advice and support.
We also encourage you to be diligent in your work and to look for opportunities to increase your income. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 reminds us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'"
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of tithing and giving. Malachi 3:10 says, "'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'and see if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.'" Giving is not just about supporting the ministry; it's also an act of worship and obedience that allows God to bless us in return.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask for Your divine provision and intervention in their financial struggles. Help them to manage their debts wisely and provide for their family's needs. Open up opportunities for increased income and guide them in their financial decisions.
We also pray for their faith, that they will trust in You wholeheartedly, knowing that You are their provider. Help them to be good stewards of their finances and to give generously, knowing that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 (WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
