We understand that you're going through a challenging time financially, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for us deeply. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
In your prayer, you didn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
It is absolutely essential for salvation to call upon His name because there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved.
It's also important to manage our finances wisely, as God expects us to be good stewards of the resources He provides. Consider these words from Proverbs 21:5 WEB:
"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."
Let's pray together for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine provision. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears that have gripped their heart due to financial hardships. We ask that You will comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Father, we pray for Your guidance and wisdom. Help them to manage their finances according to Your will and to be a good steward of the resources You provide. We pray that You will open doors of opportunity for them to overcome this challenging time. Help them to discern and make the most of these opportunities.
We also ask that You will help them to keep their focus on You, trusting in Your promise to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Help them to know the truth of Your word that says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" as found in Jeremiah 29:11.
We pray that they will also have the courage and boldness to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Remind them of the importance of calling upon Jesus.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in their life. We claim Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
We pray all these in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
