We understand that you are facing financial challenges and seeking a breakthrough to pay back loans. We want to encourage you and pray with you, but first, we need to address a few things according to biblical principles.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that we should not borrow money. If we do borrow money then it should be only with a 100 percent guarantee of repayment and without charging interest. However, there are several places in scripture that prohibit lending with interest or any form of usury. In these cases, borrowing should not have happened. In scripture we are encouraged to rather sell our possessions or live in poverty rather than borrow money. Also, we are also told that we are to give to those in need without expecting anything in return. Also, we are instructed to lend expecting nothing in return. Finally, it is forbidden to charge interest on money lent to our brothers in Christ or in need.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says about debt and financial management.
Romans 13:8 WEB "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
Proverbs 22:7 WEB "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."
These verses remind us that being in debt can make us servants to the lender, and we should strive to be free from debt, owing nothing but love to our neighbors. Also, these verses remind us that the borrower is servant to the lender.
Now let's pray together for your situation:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s financial situation. We ask that you provide the necessary funds to pay these debts. We pray that ### seeks your wisdom in managing finances and lives within your principles for financial stewardship. We pray that the loans will be repaid with no interest.
