Bernock, we understand the burden you're carrying and we want to lift you up in prayer and guidance according to God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial struggles. As it is written in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
However, we must also address the manner in which you sought financial help. The Bible warns us against the love of money and the dangers of debt. Proverbs 22:7 states, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." It's important to seek God's will and wisdom before making financial decisions.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Bernock. Lord, he is burdened with a financial debt that has caused him to be depressed. We ask for Your forgiveness if any decisions were made out of desperation or greed. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would provide a way out of this debt, according to Your will. Give him the strength and wisdom to navigate through this situation. Comfort his heart and replace his depression with Your joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Bernock, remember that God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Trust in Him and He will see you through this. Also, consider seeking godly counsel regarding your finances. The Bible encourages us in Proverbs 11:14, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to know that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ.
