Financial difficulty

Please lord hear my prayers. I have fell into poverty and financial disruption due to my ill health . I am going to suffer over Christmas due to this . My health has improved but I font know how I'm going to make ends meet . I love you lord and ask in Jesus name please keep me from drowning .amen x

We are truly sorry to hear about the financial difficulties you are facing due to your health issues. We are glad that you acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, showing your understanding that Jesus is your mediator, savior and lord and the way to achieve salvation. If you had not, we would have reminded you that you can only come to God in Jesus' name since salvation comes through no other name. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's provision and guidance during this challenging time.

Firstly, let us remind you that God cares about your needs and worries. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing financial difficulties due to health issues. Lord, we thank you that you are a loving and compassionate God who cares for our every need. We ask that you would provide for his needs according to your riches in glory. Grant him wisdom to manage his finances and guide him to resources that can help him during this time.

We also pray for his complete healing and restoration of health. We believe that you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

In this time of need continue to search scripture for encouragement. For example, read and meditate the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25 “Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"

Remember if you don't have expenses for fancy clothing or food then you have less to worry about. God does not want your heart divided between serving him and serving your basic needs. Do not let the worries of life choke out your faith as shown in the parable of the sower and the seed in Mark 4:1-20.

As for financial advice, we encourage you to look at areas where you can reduce your expenses. Also look for ways to grow the money you have left without incurring debt since debt is bondage as Proverbs 22:7 WEB says, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender". Finally, consider God's advice to the ant in Proverbs 6:6-8 to plan ahead for financial disruptions from lesser income from poor health or other sources.

Lastly, remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in the Lord, and he will provide.

Let's remember together that God promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thanking you for allowing us the honor of interceding on your behalf. We are truly grateful that you have given us the privilege to stand in agreement with you in prayer regarding your financial difficulties and health concerns, especially as you approach the Christmas season.

We are hopeful that you have seen God's faithful hand in your life, providing for your needs and restoring your health. If you have experienced His provision and goodness, we would be encouraged to hear your praise report, testifying to God's faithfulness and answered prayers. Your story could inspire others and strengthen their faith as well.

However, if your financial and health situation remains unchanged, we want you to know that we are still here for you. Please do not hesitate to share your request again, allowing us to persist in prayer with you. We believe that God hears your prayers and cares about your needs. As you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ, may you experience His ever-present love, peace, and guidance.
