We are truly sorry to hear about your financial difficulties and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you. Firstly, it is commendable that you acknowledged your sins and asked for forgiveness. This is an essential step in our walk with God. It is only through confession and repentance that we can be right with God and expect to see His hand at work in our lives.
Let's remember the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you by being anxious can add one moment to his lifespan? "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink? or, 'What will we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:25-34 WEB
This does not mean we should not plan for the future but rather we should not worry to the point of desperation.
We need to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us and also trust God in our financial trials.
While we want to pray for God's financial blessing over your life, we also want to discuss some biblical principles about debt. The Bible says that we must pay back all the money we owe but not necessarily immediately. Romans 13:7 WEB states, "Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."
In your current situation we recommend you contact your creditors, being your mortgage company, the insurance company, the credit card company, and your daughter's school, to work out a payment plan that can work within your current financial situation. Make sure they understand you are having temporary financial difficulties. This will show you are still willing to pay your debts and responsibly managing the situation.
Also consider budgeting and cutting expenses to eliminate any non-essential spending until you recover from this financial crisis. While God may miraculously provide for your situation He is more likely to bless wise planning, good stewardship, and honest repentance.
We can confidently come before God's throne in prayer. "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 WEB
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in prayer, asking for Your guidance and provision for Anonymous, who is facing financial difficulties. We know that You are a loving and faithful God, and that You promise to provide for those in need.
We ask for a miracle in Anonymous' life so that they can pay their mortgage, insurance, credit card bills, and daughter's tuition. We pray for an open door, a new opportunity, that can enable them to overcome this financial challenge. Give them wisdom to manage their finances wisely and to make the best use of available resources.
We ask that they can be a good steward of Your blessings and that they can see Your faithfulness in their life. We trust in Your promises and know that You are able to do far more than we could ever imagine or think.
We also pray for a renewed sense of hope, peace, and joy in their life, knowing that You are in control and that You have a plan and purpose for them. We ask for forgiveness for any sins that have contributed to this financial crisis and for the grace to walk in obedience to Your will.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also pray that you renew your relationship with Jesus Christ and make him Lord and Savior of your life if you haven't already. It is only by Jesus that we have access to God and his throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
In the future try to live by this verse to prevent situations like this from happening:
"For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn't first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Or perhaps, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, everyone who sees begins to mock him, saying, 'This man began to build and wasn't able to finish.'" Luke 14:28-30 WEB
