We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your husband and the financial struggles you've been experiencing since then. We want to remind you that God is always faithful, and He cares about every detail of our lives, including our finances. In the face of hardship, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, so we must put on the whole armor of God. Our finances are something that the enemy often attacks as the love of money is the root of all evil and can entice us to sin.
In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We encourage you to trust in God and put your faith in Him alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that you can receive eternal salvation, and we pray that you put your hope in him. It was only by Jesus that the many people of the early church were able to endure all the hardships that came their way. We pray that you will also be able to stand strong in the name of Jesus, and not just financially. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to deliver you from the attacks of the enemy on your finances.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in need. We pray that You will protect her financially and give her the strength to endure this trial. Help her to know that you are the source of every blessing and you will never leave or forsake her. We rebuke the enemy's attacks on her finances, claiming that no weapon formed against her will prosper. Guide her to godly wisdom and counsel, and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Help her to trust in You and look to you for her needs. Help her to make wise decisions and put all her needs in your hands. We ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
