We are truly sorry to hear about the financial crisis you're facing, especially at this crucial time as you prepare to welcome a new baby into your family. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and He cares about our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
In this time of need, turn to God and trust Him to provide for you. Also, be wise stewards of your resources. If you have any questions, concerns, or need advice on managing your finances, or just needing help in general, please do not hesitate to seek counsel from your local church or other Christian believers.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up this family in their time of need. We know that you are a loving and providing God. We ask that you will supply all their needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray for open doors and opportunities for them to overcome this crisis in Jesus Name. We also pray for the safe delivery of their baby and that you will give them the wisdom and resources to raise this child in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
We close this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." And "Whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Acts 4:12 and John 14:13 WEB.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm.
