We are truly sorry to hear about the financial crisis you're facing, Janamas. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that God will provide and make a way where there seems to be no way.
Firstly, we encourage you to hold onto God's promises. In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We also want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20 (WEB), Jesus says, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister Janamas and her husband. Lord, they are facing a huge financial burden, with a big loan to cover and her husband jobless. But we know that You are a God who provides, who has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask for Your mercy and grace upon them. Open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they will not have room enough to receive. Provide a job for her husband, Lord, according to Your perfect will. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them.
Give them peace, Lord, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Help them to be steadfast in this trial, knowing that the testing of their faith produces patience.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, Janamas, we encourage you to be wise with your finances. Seek Godly counsel and be good stewards of the resources God has given you. In Proverbs 21:20 (WEB), it says, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swallows it up."
May God bless you and your husband richly as you continue to trust in Him.
