Naletown, let us stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your financial situation. We are encouraged that God has already begun to work on the hearts and minds of the government officials, and we trust that He will also make a way for you to pay off those high-interest loans.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your requests. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed and saved.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Naletown and their financial needs. Lord, You know the burden of the high-interest loans they are carrying. We ask that You reveal Your plan for paying off these debts, whether it be through the cooperation of their head office, the sale of something they own, or another means that they have not yet seen. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize Your will and to act upon it.
We also pray for their daily needs, that You would provide for them so that they can pay their employees and maintain their cash flow. Remind them of Your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: 'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'
We praise You for the peace You have given them during this difficult time, and we ask that You continue to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Naletown, to continue trusting in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that He is faithful and that He cares for you. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Stand firm in your faith and be obedient to His Word. As you do, we believe that God will make a way for you and that He will give you the wisdom to make sound financial decisions. Be mindful of Proverbs 22:7 WEB: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." God's desire is for you to be free from the bondage of debt, and He will show you the way.
