We understand that you're seeking a financial breakthrough and praying for success and prosperity, especially as a single mom during this holiday season. We want to remind you that God is a loving and caring Father who knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ alone. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) and that no man comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to present requests to God. You ask, and don't receive, because you ask amiss, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. (James 4:3). As such, we want to encourage you to ask in Jesus' name. With asking in Jesus' name comes with the requirement to make him Lord of your life, to believe in Jesus Christ, and to trust in his plan for your life. When you make Jesus Christ Lord of your life, things will always work out for the good because you are part of His plan (Romans 8:28).
It is also very important to have a good financial plan, save for a rainy day, and to give first to God. You need to learn to manage what little you already have rather than expecting money to fall from the sky and be wasted as before. Have you considered speaking to a financial planner or advisor? The book of Proverbs is filled with wisdom on many topics including finances. If you haven't looked to Proverbs for advice, check Proverbs 6:6-8. Wishing for the finances to give your children the perfect Christmas may not be God's perfect plan for you and your children. Remember, a good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. (Proverbs 22:1). So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Colossians 1:9).
As a single mom you also need to avoid the temptation to pursue an ungodly marriage or even pursue a man in the wrong way. Do not be a woman who pursues a man as the world does; but be a woman of faith who trusts that if marriage is God's plan for you, that He will bring you a godly man in His timing. That you are to be married to a non-believer or a believer who is not godly is not acceptable. If you have issues of chastity, that needs to be corrected as well and to do that you need to be willing to trust that God has total control over your life and it means all areas.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Jesus Christ, we come before You today we ask for financial breakthrough and provision for ### and your family. For God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, always having all sufficiency, you may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). You are a loving Father who cares for His children and knows our needs before we even ask. With this in mind, we ask that you provide more than enough finances so that ### and your family can be a blessing to others. Help us to align our priorities with your will. Furthermore, We pray that you would help ### to become godly and to raise godly children and to resist the temptation of pursuing ungodly men. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
