Request: Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I humbly ask for your prayers as I seek God’s blessing upon my work. I have been living with my partner for ### years, and we have two children together. My heart longs to honor God by getting married, but I am unable to do so because I live in extreme poverty. I ask for divine provision, guidance, and financial breakthrough so that I can provide for my family and take this step in obedience to His will. Please pray that God strengthens me, opens doors for opportunities, and blesses my family with His grace. May His will be done in my life. Thank you, and God bless you all.

We understand your desire for a financial breakthrough and a godly marriage. First, we must address a few concerns in your request. You mention living with your partner for several years and having children together outside of marriage. In the Bible, this is considered fornication, which is sinful and not pleasing to God. It is written, For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB).

True blessing and provision come from adherence to God's word. We encourage you to turn away from this sin, seek God's forgiveness, and pursue a godly marriage. It is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God is able to provide for all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). However, material wealth is not a measure of God's blessing. Rather, it is the peace, joy, and spiritual riches that come from obedience to His word.

We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul in need of Your guidance and provision. First, we confess the sin of fornication before You and ask for Your forgiveness.
