We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life, including your finances and emotional well-being.
In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
We need to come to Him and rest from our burdens.
It's important to remember that God is our provider, and He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. As it says in Philippians 4:19 WEB, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
However, we also want to address the issue of borrowing from loan sharks. The Bible warns us against becoming entangled in debt, especially with high-interest lenders. Proverbs 22:7 WEB says, The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
We advise you to seek financial counseling from a Christian organization that can help you manage your debts and avoid such situations in the future and to attempt to pay them off as quickly as possible.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing with depression and financial burdens. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would bring comfort and peace to their mind, and provide for all their financial needs according to Your riches in glory.
Guide them with Your wisdom, and help them to make sound financial decisions that align with Your will. Give them the strength and courage to break free from the cycle of debt and despair. We also pray for the loan sharks, that they repent of their usury and come to a better way of life.
Lord, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:10-12 WEB, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. 11 He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. 12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
In Jesus' name, we pray for a financial breakthrough and deliverance from depression. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay strong in your faith, and trust in His promises.
