Strennath, We understand that you're seeking a financial breakthrough, especially with the sale of your car and the desire to own your home outright. You are also looking to be debt-free. You also mentioned starting a new volunteer position. While we pray for God's provision, it's essential to align our desires with biblical principles and acknowledging that it is Jesus Christ that we have access to God to ask for these things.
We must remember that God is not a lottery ticket to wealth. We are to be content in all circumstances, as the Apostle Paul wrote from a prison cell in Rome, in Philippians 4:11:
Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.
In addition to praying for God's provision, we encourage you to be a good steward of your current resources. As Jesus Christ in the parable of the talents taught.
It's also crucial to acknowledge God's sovereignty in all things. He knows your needs better than you do.
7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.
8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
9 Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent?
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Matthew 7:7-11
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Strennath is coming to you for a financial breakthrough to own a home outright. We do not know if this is your will for him, Lord. So, we come to you to ask that Strennath will trust in you to provide divine guidance and provision, in Jesus' name.
Lord, we ask that you bring a genuine buyer for the car, if it is in your will, and that you guide Strennath in managing his finances wisely. Help him to be a good steward of the resources you've entrusted to him. Help him to pay off his debts and live the spirit of freedom.
Lord, we also pray for Strennath's upcoming volunteer work. Give him the strength and wisdom to serve others effectively, and may his efforts bring glory to your name. Help him to be a blessing to others as he reaches out for your sake, Lord.
We ask for all this in Jesus' name knowing that it is by Jesus Christ that we have access to you, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Strennath, to stay faithful and uncompromising in your Christian walk. God knows your needs and will provide for them according to His will.
