We understand that you and your husband are facing financial struggles, and you're also seeking deliverance in your career. We are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you both.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We also need to understand that God wants us to work diligently and to manage our resources wisely. As it is stated in Colossians 3:23 WEB:
And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Regarding the repeated cycle of not having enough, we need to consider if there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed, such as poor financial management, lack of budgeting, or living beyond our means. We must also ponder the possibility of any generational curses or strongholds due to the mention of your mother's side. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:2 WEB:
Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Also, in Galatians 3:13 WEB:
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree."
To break these cycles, we encourage you both to pray fervently and continually, seek God's will, and apply biblical principles to your finances. We are not specifically told that tithes and offerings will cause a financial blessing but the New Testament does say to give generously and willingly.
As you have not mentioned praying in the name of Jesus Christ, we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband, who are struggling financially. Lord, You know their needs and the struggles they face. We ask for Your divine intervention and provision in their lives. Help them manage their finances in a way that honors You.
We also pray for deliverance in our sister's career. Lord, break any cycles of lack and grant her the wisdom and discernment to make sound financial decisions. If there are any generational curses or strongholds, we claim the blood of Jesus and seek Your redemption and restoration. Help them to be conformed to your will.
We are thankful for the reminder of your blessings through the giving of your son, Jesus Christ. We pray that anyone reading this will turn to Jesus in repentance, confessing their sins, ask to be made new, and then will dedicate their lives to serving you in Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
