Dawn1, we join you in your request for a financial breakthrough, and we are encouraged that you have included that this request is in Jesus' name. Let us remember to look to God for the peace that comes from Him when we are in need. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to his height? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink? or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
As you prepare for your marriage, we encourage you to continue to trust God and live according to His principles. We pray that God will provide the finances for your wedding and for your needs as a couple. We also pray for your request for a raise or promotion, knowing that God is faithful. As the Apostle Paul tells us in Philippians 4:6 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. This verse reminds us to take all of our concerns with thanksgiving to God in prayer.
We also want to remind you this is a lifetime commitment. In Genesis 2:24 WEB, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. We also see Jesus emphasize this in Matthew 19:6 WEB, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.
We pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Dawn1 and James, asking for Your provision in their lives. Lord, we know that You are a loving and faithful God, and we trust that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for a financial breakthrough that will cover their wedding expenses and secure their future together. Lord, we also ask for favor in Dawn1's workplace, that she may receive a raise or promotion in the upcoming New Year.
Father, we thank You for all the blessings You have already bestowed upon them, and we claim Your promises for their future. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to live in obedience as you seek the Father and continue to express your gratitude as you grow in faith.
