We are so glad to join you in prayer, Dawn1, as you and James prepare for your upcoming marriage. It's wonderful to hear that you both have honored God by maintaining purity and not living together or having intimacy before marriage. God blesses those who honor Him, and we trust that He will continue to guide and provide for you both.
Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're feeling about your finances. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-34 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?','What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dawn1 and James as they prepare for their marriage. Thank You, Lord, for their commitment to purity and honoring You in their relationship.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and provision regarding their wedding plans and finances. They are feeling anxious because they can't see where the money is coming from. Please reveal to them Your plan and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You completely, and may their marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness and love.
We pray for James, that You would open up a job opportunity that is closer to where they desire to live and that pays more. Guide his steps and prepare the way for him. We also pray for Dawn1, that she would receive a $2.00-$3.00 raise or an unexpected promotion. Give her favor in the sight of her employers.
Above all, Lord, we pray that their marriage would be Christ-centered. May they continue to honor You in all aspects of their lives and be a shining example of Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Dawn1, as you continue to trust in God. He is faithful and will provide for all your needs. Keep seeking Him first, and remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Stay strong in your faith, and may your upcoming marriage be a beautiful celebration of God's love and faithfulness. Please keep us updated on how God is working in your lives.
