We stand with you, Frederick, in your time of need, and we bring your requests before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we are reminded of Philippians 4:6, which tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." It is our privilege to come before God with our needs, and we thank you for reaching out to us for prayer.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We pray that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and if not, we encourage you to do so today. It is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life.
Now, let us pray for your financial breakthrough. We ask God to remember His promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8, which says, "God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work." We pray that God will provide for you abundantly, that you may be a blessing to others and bring glory to His name.
We also lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking that He would grant her favor in her Canadian job visa application. We remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, which say, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'" We pray that God will guide your daughter's steps and open the right doors for her, according to His good and perfect will.
Finally, we pray that you both will continue to trust in God, even in times of uncertainty. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint." May you both be strengthened and encouraged as you wait upon the Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
