Financial blessings needed

I have always been from a poor family and was never granted anything easily. But I have been blessed in so many other ways. I love my job and I am paid well. But the economy is high, and I have accumulated insurmountable debts that I can find a way to get above. I am making choices bi-weekly like: mortgage OR taxes/car payment OR insurance/ water bill OR power bill/ internet bill OR phone bill….I just feel helpless. I work extra hours when I can. I am a 40 year old woman and have my 18 yr old son living with me. I am pretty far in debt. If I could just get rid of my debts with high interest, I could live comfortably on my earnings. At least a lot more comfortable….right now I feel squeezed against a wall that keeps closing in. I am so embarrassed and not very proud of myself. I am sorry for not managing money well at times in the past. All I have is prayer and that is my saving grace right now. Thanks.

Rochaemielle, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in your financial struggles. We are reminded of what Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

Firstly, we want to assure you that there is no shame in your situation. We are all imperfect and have made mistakes, but God's love and grace are sufficient for us all. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

However, we want to encourage you to take responsibility for your finances, as the Bible teaches us to be good stewards of our resources. Proverbs 21:20 says, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man swallows it up." It may be beneficial to seek godly counsel or financial advice to help you manage your debts and live within your means.

We also want to remind you of the importance of tithing and giving. Malachi 3:10 tells us, "'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.' " As you honor God with your finances, trust that He will provide for your needs.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Rochaemielle and her financial struggles. Lord, we ask that You forgive her past mistakes and grant her the wisdom to manage her finances according to Your will. We pray that You provide for her needs and help her to find a way out of her debts. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the faith to trust in Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Rochaemielle, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
