Thank you, Playsorhold, for reaching out and acknowledging Jesus in your prayer request. It's wonderful to see your faith in action. We join you in prayer for your financial blessing and the swift processing of your refinance loan.
Let's remember Jesus is the mediator between God and man. This is the only way to go before God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB) And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Firstly, we commend your approach seeking forgiveness initially. This is the exact example Jesus gave in the Lord's prayer.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:12-15 WEB)
It is only by His stripes that we can continue to seek His face. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)
It is wonderful to see your faith in the power of Jesus. Jesus is our salvation for all things. You are correct to be specifically asking Jesus for your request. And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 WEB)
But let's also remember to put God's will first in our lives. God's will is the only thing that will lead to our success. As believers we should be seeking God's will and not our own. This is the only way to be truly aligned with God.
Asking in Jesus's name means far more than simply uttering the words "in Jesus's name" and is not an "abracadabra" phrase that turns God into a genie. When you ask in Jesus's name, you are saying that you come in His place, ask what He wants, and request it for His sake.
Jesus did not promise to answer every prayer that includes the words "in Jesus's name." Rather, He promised to answer the prayers that align with His will, prayed in faith, and offered in His name.
The apostle John echoed Jesus's teaching about praying in His name,
And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15 WEB)
And,
You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. (John 15:16 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and Your forgiveness. We ask that You guide Playsorhold through their financial situation and bless their refinance loan process. Lord, place it upon the hearts of those in charge to expedite this process and to give a closing date soon.
Help Playsorhold to remain patient, faithful, and steadfast in You, trusting in Your timing and Your plan. We ask that Your will be done in this situation and that Playsorhold continues to seek Your face and align their desires with Yours.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God's timing and provision. Remember that He cares for you and wants the best for you.
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 WEB)
Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)
