We join you in prayer, Anonymous, asking for the Lord Jesus's healing touch and financial blessing in your life, here are our thoughts and prayers from our hearts. We understand that trials can bring us closer to God, and He can turn our struggles into blessings, whether its health or finances. In Jesus Name. Firstly, though, let us consider Christ's policies on money:
Money is not evil. Loving money is evil. Do not serve money as a lord or master. Doing so is idolatry and loving money is the root of many evils. Money will entice us to sin and sin will take us away from our regeneration of a cleansed life in Jesus. Knowing these things, prayer for blessing is more than appropriate, but praying for money should be avoided.
WEB Matthew 6:24 - No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon.
WEB 1 Timothy 6:10 - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 WEB John 2:15-17 - 15 Do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father’s, but is the world’s. 17 The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.
Healing is the will of God. Christ already healed us, redeemed us, and took sickness away as our burden. God would like to see his children healed. Isaiah told us that Christ already was crucified and whipped to prevent illness and disease.
WEB Isaiah 53:5 - But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
WEB Isaiah 53:4 - Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
WEB Matthew 8:17 - that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”
We pray for you, Anonymous. May Jesus, our merciful Lord, bring your life in order. May Jesus draw a hedge of protection and blessings around you as our Lord did for Job. May Jesus protect you from all the lies and tricks of satan. May Jesus hasten to grant his lost, destroyed, or stolen blessings. May Jesus sanctify and also consecrate your finances. May you be blessed with work and life abundantly from our Holy Lord.
Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
