We are truly sorry to hear about the financial, physical, and emotional struggles you are currently facing, Tom. Let us come before the Lord together in prayer and seek His guidance and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to God and His mercy.
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Tom in prayer. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing—financial hardships, physical ailments, and the grips of depression. We ask for Your divine intervention in each of these areas.
Lord, we pray for Tom's financial needs. Remind him of Your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), 'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.' Provide for Tom's needs, Lord, and help him to trust in You.
Heal Tom's physical afflictions, Lord. Touch his body and restore his health. Remind him of Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,’ says Yahweh.'"
Tom, we also want to address the depression you are facing. It is crucial to remember that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Do not lose hope, for God is your strength and refuge.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and His will for your life. Even in the midst of trials, God is working for your good. As Romans 8:28 (WEB) tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Please know that we are standing with you in prayer, Tom. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and trust that He will see you through these trying times.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
