Financial aid for college

We are truly moved by the situation of your friend, and we want to lift her up in prayer with you. Before we proceed, let's remember the importance of asking in Jesus' name, as He says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)

Firstly, we want to address the financial need your friend is facing. We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our financial needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend who is in need of financial aid for her education. She finds herself in a challenging situation, with no parents or grandparents to support her. But Lord, You are the father to the fatherless, and we trust that You will provide for her needs. Please guide her steps as she seeks Your will for her life and education. Open the right doors for her, and if it is Your will, provide the ### she needs to attend ###. Help her to trust in You, and cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage your friend to pursue her education in a way that honors God. In Colossians 3:23 WEB, it is written, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men." We encourage her to keep God at the center of her endeavors, and He will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:6 WEB).

We've been thinking about your friend and her situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up on her behalf. We know that God sees her and He cares deeply about her needs. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds," and we believe that God is right there with her, healing and strengthening her.

We want to pray for her to have a peace that surpasses understanding as she navigates this financial challenge. We ask that God would open doors for her, whether that's through scholarships, grants, or other means, to make her education possible. We also pray that she would continue to trust in God's plan for her life, knowing that He has a purpose in all things.

Let's also remember to intercede for her in other areas of her life. We can pray for her to have a strong support system around her, for her to stay focused on her goals, and for her to grow in her relationship with God through this time.
