Kensem, we join you in prayer for God's provision and abundance in your life and for your family. We stand on His promises of and seek His will together. You mentioned financial abundance, however, lets remind ourselves of the importance of contentment and trust in God's provision. One critical aspect is remembering Gods will be for our lives and provision, not on human terms but God's view of being prosperous.
In 1 Timothy 6:6-10 (WEB) it is written: "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
It's not wrong to ask for financial provision or have an abundance, but always check ourselves with our motives. As believers our focus should be Gods kingdom being brought here on earth as Jesus instructs. Also, we must include Jesus by name when praying since there is no access to God except by him. To read more about this read Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven given to or among men by which we must be saved."
Let's pray together and focus on Gods provision of your day-to-day needs so you might also seek Gods kingdom, Matt. 6:33: "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Father, we pray that you will supply Kensem with the financial needs of your household and save up enough to be generous to every person according to Luke 6:38 so Kensem can also use it as needed for your kingdom, so Kensem might be a part of the processes by which you are expanding and growing. Be gracious to provide enough, and rescue them from the temptations and evil a foot. In Jesus name we pray!
Kensem, to help other parts of your life as well, where this money might be needed and what lessons we can learn from your faith in prayers from other believers like you, one person or another might come along side or and in the name of Jesus. Either if its a job promotion or some tasks come along, we hope it is satisfying knowing the provision is to seek God. Even when it is nothing extravagant or nothing at all! We realize being saved is the real prize and desire contentment in all circumstances since God says the we are to rely on him day-to-day as per Matthew 6:11: 'Give us today our daily bread.'
