We understand that you and your husband are seeking God's blessings for a financial miracle and deliverance from depression. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about our needs and wants us to trust Him in all circumstances. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
While God wants us to trust Him, He also wants us to be wise with our finances. It is essential to manage our money according to biblical principles, which include tithes and offerings, saving, and living within our means as outlined in Luke 14:28 WEB:
"For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn't first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?"
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this couple who are seeking Your blessings for a financial miracle and deliverance from depression. We ask that You guide them in their finances, provide for their needs, and help them to manage their money wisely according to Your principles. Help them to trust in You and to seek You first in all circumstances. We also pray for their emotional well-being, that You would lift them out of depression and fill them with Your peace and joy. Give them hope and encouragement, and help them to support each other in this time of need. We ask these in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage both of you to support each other in prayer and in practically managing your finances. Trust in God, for He is faithful to provide for His children. Remember that God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, but you also need to do your part in prayer and being good stewards of His resources. The borrower is a slave to the lender, and the rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the servant to the lender.
We would also like to gently rebuke the failure to mention the name of Jesus Christ in the request. As outlined in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And as outlined in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
