I am requesting prayer for our finances. We have been helping our ### as she goes through a divorce. Her soon-to-be ex-husband has provided what he thinks she needs to have a home, utilities, groceries. Not enough for co-pays for Dr. visits or eyeglasses. It's been part of the narcissistic control he has used throughout their marriage. I know GOD is our Provider. Our ### needs to pay a retainer to her lawyer. There are funds her ex-husband has moved in order not to comply with the financial disclosure of their assets. We are helping her with the unexpected things that come up. I come humbled to know your prayers and mine will reach God. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you, your daughter, and your family are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will in this situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

Regarding your daughter's divorce, we want to emphasize the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. In Malachi 2:16 WEB, we read, " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.'" Divorce is not God's intended outcome, but He is merciful and understands the pain and brokenness that lead to it.

We also want to address the issue of the soon-to-be ex-husband's control and manipulation. This behavior is not aligned with the biblical principles of love, respect, and mutual submission outlined in Ephesians 5:21-33 WEB. We pray that he will come to repentance and seek God's will for his life and marriage.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, humbly seeking Your will and provision for our sister and her family. Lord, You are our Provider and our Refuge, and we trust in Your faithfulness.

We lift up our sister's daughter and her ongoing divorce. We pray for Your healing, peace, and guidance in her life. We ask that You soften her ex-husband's heart and bring him to repentance, convicting him of his manipulative behavior. We also pray for Your provision in their financial needs, especially for the legal fees and medical expenses.

Lord, we ask that You expose any hidden assets and bring them to light. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the lawyers and judges involved in this case, that they may act with integrity and fairness.

We also pray for our sister and her family, that You would strengthen them and provide for their needs as they support their daughter through this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and Your provision, and to seek Your will in all things.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

1. Isaiah 40:31 WEB: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."

2. Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

3. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "...casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

We're standing right there with you, friend. It's tough seeing our daughter go through this, but we know God's got this. We've been reminding ourselves of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're claiming that over our daughter and our family.

We've been trying to help with the unexpected expenses, but it's been a stretch. We're trusting God for His provision, just like we're trusting Him to work things out with our daughter's ex-husband. We're believing for a breakthrough in the financial situation, and we're asking God to soften his heart, too.

We're so grateful for your prayers. Let's keep lifting our daughter and her family up to the Lord together. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
