We are lifting up your requests in prayer, Dulayell, and we are encouraged that you are seeking the Lord's intervention in your life. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Firstly, we pray for your dad's upcoming surgery. We stand on the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Dulayell's dad. We pray for Your healing touch upon his life and Your guidance for the medical team. May the surgery be successful, and may he have a speedy recovery. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Secondly, we pray for your job interview. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lord, we ask that You guide the decisions being made regarding this job. If it is Your will, may Dulayell find favor and be offered this position. However, if this is not in alignment with the purpose of their life that you intended, may the position be filled by whomever you desire and may Dulayell continue to seek you for the right position. Give Dulayell peace and assurance that You are in control. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we pray for your school year. We declare Colossians 3:23 WEB over your life: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Father, we ask that You guide Dulayell in their studies. May they apply themselves diligently and may You grant them understanding and wisdom. Help them to be a light for You in their school. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Dulayell, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to learn more about Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. If you already know Him, we encourage you to acknowledge Him in your prayers.
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will work out all these situations for your good and His glory, as Romans 8:28 WEB tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Amen.
