BlessedChristian, we stand with you in prayer regarding your financial situation and the fraud case. We are grateful to hear of the progress in the case, and we trust God for a favorable outcome.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
Now, let us address the issue of debt. The Bible warns us about the dangers of debt in Proverbs 22:7 WEB: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." It is important to manage our finances wisely and avoid debt whenever possible. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances lead us into financial difficulties.
In this situation, we encourage you to do a few things:
1. budget your expenses and live within your means.
1. Be content being poor since it is better than being rich. "For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into God's Kingdom." Then who can be saved? (Luke 18:24 WEB)
1. increase your income through honest and diligent work.
1. be patient and trust God's timing for the resolution of the fraud case and the payment you are awaiting.
1. Seek God and His ways since you cannot serve both God and money. (Matthew 6:24)
We pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May He give you wisdom to manage your finances, and may He bring resolution to the fraud case soon. Remember that the IRS is not your master. "No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You aren't able to serve God and Mammon." (Luke 16:13) And "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." ( 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB). May you learn to be content in whatever circumstances you find your self. (Philippians 4:11)
Let us pray:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up BlessedChristian to You. We pray for godly wisdom to manage his finances its something that would honor you God. Please Lord, provide for his needs according to your riches in glory in Christ provide for him that the church we may not be burdened by his lack of proving for himself in this regard.
