We understand that you're going through a financial crisis, Phaena, and we want to stand with you in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's remember Jesus' teachings on worry in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Phaena, who is in need of Your financial provision and peace. Lord, You know her needs, and You care for her. Please continue to carry her through this crisis, providing for her daily bread, and guiding her to resources that can help. Help her to trust in You and not be anxious, knowing that You are a loving and faithful Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Phaena, we also encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness and remember that He is your provider. In Philippians 4:19 (WEB), it's written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Use this time to draw closer to God, and if you haven't already, ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's through Him that we have access to God and His abundant provisions (John 14:6).
Lastly, be wise with your finances. Seek godly counsel and consider how you can be a good steward of the resources God has given you (Matthew 25:14-30).
