Please pray that our finances get better. We are behind in our bills due to me getting cancer. I'm ok now but just went back to work and was not getting paid for months. Husband is working but not many hours. Pray that he gets more hours. Thank you

We understand the financial strain you're under, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises for provision and healing. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our life, what we will eat or drink, nor about our body, what we will put on. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things and that we should seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.

However, we also understand the practical aspects of your situation. While God promises provision, he also expects us to be wise stewards of our resources. Here are some steps you can take:

1. **Budgeting**: Make a detailed list of your income and expenses to understand where your money is going. This will help you prioritize your spending. "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?" (Luke 14:28)

2. **Communication**: Talk openly with your creditors about your situation. They may be willing to work out a payment plan.

3. **Seek Support**: Don't hesitate to reach out to your local church or community for help. They may have resources or know of job opportunities for your husband.

Now, let's pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister in need. She has bravely faced cancer and is now struggling with financial burdens. Lord, you promise to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask for your divine intervention in her and her husband's employment situations. Open doors for better opportunities, and grant them wisdom to manage their finances. We also pray for complete healing and restoration of her health. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.*

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it's by His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." Trust in Jesus, and He will see you through.

Gracious Heavenly Father, I lift up this family to You in their time of financial need. You know the difficulties they have faced with the battle against cancer and the loss of income that resulted. But You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. I pray that in Your infinite wisdom and love, You would open doors of provision for them.

Lord, I ask that You would bless the husband with more hours and steady work, so that they can get caught up on their bills. May his employers have favor on him. And I pray for excellence in this family's finances moving forward, that they would be good stewards and learn to trust You as their ultimate source.

Just as You supplied manna in the wilderness and the widow's endless supply of oil and flour, I know You can make a way where there seems to be no way. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Your promise in Philippians 4:19 - "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Heal any worry, fear or anxiety, and replace it with Your supernatural peace that transcends understanding. Use this trial to draw them closer to You. We bless Your holy name, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. In Jesus' name, amen.
